With the easing of restrictions, we are pleased to announce the Brotherhood can begin having functions again – even with the lower numbers.
The current restrictions and the size of the hall mean we can have a maximum of 50 guests which we expect to increase to 100 following further announcements shortly, so with this in mind we would like to announce:
Functions
- The annual Christmas party for children twelve and under can occur. We will be hosting Father Christmas for afternoon tea on Sunday, 20 December at 2pm. In order to maximise the number of children possible, we ask that only two adults accompany their children to the event. The event is free. Please download and fill out the form and return to us, no later than Friday, 11 December.
- The annual New Year’s Eve dance on 31 December. Tickets are $80 per adult and $50 per child (under 12). Help us celebrate what has been a pretty momentous year for us all. Please contact any of the committee members to secure your table.
- We have tentatively booked the annual Australia Day picnic for Sunday, 24 January 2021, at the Holy Monastery of Panagia Kamariani, 135 Arthur Seat Rd, Red Hill.
If restrictions ease further then we may be able to accommodate more, however, please also note that we are at the mercy of the government and things may get cancelled at a moment’s notice. Should an event be cancelled, all prepaid tickets will be refunded in full.
Persons attending functions will be required to comply with Covid-19 safe practices in line with Government guidelines to ensure the safety of all. This presently includes wearing face masks, washing hands regularly and social distancing. Persons who have booked tickets and are exhibiting Covid-19 symptoms should get tested and are requested to not attend any functions. A full refund will be provided for prepaid tickets.
We will be working hard in the New Year to bring you more and different functions, more often. For example, we are looking to hold Greek nights once a month on a Friday night with live music and Sunday afternoon tea for our senior citizens.
Keep checking our facebook page, website and your inbox for updates.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
